This little tale tries to illustrate a problem with modern virus theory.
According to the modern virus theory, viruses have no reproductive capacity of their own.
Scientific commentators often use the formulation that viruses need a host in the form of a cell in order to reproduce themselves.
I believe that this representation is misleading. You add with that wording to virus a will of its own, or in at least a drive of its own, which, in my opinion, there is absolutely no evidence to attribute to it.
I claim that viruses, when you look at the phenomenon from modern virus theory, are as little active in their own reproduction / copying as a Louis Vuitton bag.
Louis Vuitton bags are copied and reproduced in a big scale by humans, but does that justifies adding to it attribute of reproductive abilities and say that they use humans to reproduce themselves.
The reader must decide that for them himself, but the little story you will find as a PDF by following the link below is intended to clarify the issue in a hopefully fun, entertaining and thought-provoking way.
Should anyone think of accusing me of being inspired by H. C. Andersen in my storytelling, my answer would be: "Of course I am". -And who doesn't, by the way?
