BRATS stands for Betrayal Recognizing And Truth Seeking.
BRATS is a term invented by the author of this page (Mikkel Meinike Nielsen) to describe a worldwide movement that arose out of the Covid-19 shutdown in 2020. A movement that is critical of many of the assumptions that constitute our understanding of reality.

The BRATS movement
This absolutely central in the BRATS movement is a skeptical approach towards established frameworks of understanding and well-established narratives. Questioning whether the Covid pandemic was real or staged, whether the vaccines against Covid were safe and effective or unsafe and dangerous, questioning whether the 1969 moon landing was real or staged, whether Russia's invasion of Ukraine is justified or unjustified, etc. etc.
People in the BRATS movement have changed their perspectives and opened their eyes to other possible frameworks of understanding than those that dominate the social debate.
The most important source of these perspective changes has been the modern information technology opportunity to access information from all over the world. The video-podcast format in particular has been important.
The purpose of the BRATS directory is to provide an easily accessible overview of good and interesting podcasts that in their production challenge the dominant frameworks of understanding and come up with alternative offers for an understanding of, for example, the presidential election in the USA, the war in Ukraine, disease and vaccines, religion and politics , finances, Child care and exploitation of children etc.
